An ingredient like butter is versatile and can be added to many of your favourite savoury snacks.
When you are making your own Hemp Flour butter, the key is to infuse our Whole Plant Hemp Flour Tincture in the butter slowly, and over a low heat. This allows the Hemp Flour to become incorporated without getting scorched.
We recommend starting with between 5-10ml of our bioactive Whole Plant Hemp Flour Tincture for 500 grams of butter. Start by cutting the butter into several pieces, and then placing it in a medium saucepan. Next, pour in the Hemp Flour, and about 1 quart of water.
Set the burner to a low heat, and cook for about 3-4 hours. Make sure to check on and stir the butter about every 30 minutes. When you are done combining the Hemp Flour and butter, pour the mixture into a bowl, and chill it for two hours.
Once you’ve made your own Hemp Flour infused butter, you can use it to make any variety of savoury snacks. One of our favourites is simply melting the butter over some hot popcorn. You can also use it as a condiment at dinner time on your meat or potatoes.
But you can also use it to make biscuits, or even just spread it on toast. And, if you do get a sweet tooth, you can use the butter to make any of your favourite baked goods.
